Originally from Aberdeen, MS, I have been here in Oxford for over 20 years. My husband Eli and I have a 9-year-old daughter, Frances, and we enjoy attending her sporting events and extra-curricular activities.

As the oldest of three girls, my passion for doing hair came to light at an early age while growing up doing the hair of her two younger sisters. I specialize in hair cuts & styles, and enjoy having both regular clients and newcomers visit my chair and leave feeling good about themselves!

My journey of becoming a cosmetologist began with some of my earliest & fondest childhood memories. When I look back on my childhood one of the most vivid memories I have are of my sweet Grandma “Chatter”. (She earned her nickname) Granda Chatter was an amazing hair stylist, that always seemed to make people smile and feel more confident about themselves. Inspired by this,

I have spent my adult life building a clientele based around 3 things: 1) always listen to my guest’s needs. 2) offer thorough and consistent results. 3) never stop learning & growing as a person and as a stylist.

I have been a resident of Oxford for most of my life, and love our town so much! I am so excited to be apart of a local business that not only helps our city thrive, but enriches the lives of the residents! Hi I am Andy, Short for Adrienne. I grew up in Okolona, MS. I came to work in Oxford 16 years ago. After ten years we decided we loved Oxford so much, we decided to settle in as residents.

Between my husband Allen and I, we have 4 kids and 11 grandchildren. We love spending most of our time at the lake on the weekends during the summer, going to concerts, and enjoying our time with our grands.

While doing hair for these 16 wonderful years, I've worked in many salons and have owned my own salon as well. I came to realize that I love to do Cuts and Colors of all kinds. From Brunettes and Blondes to Vibrant Reds we will make your hair goals become reality! I'm always trying to keep up my education on the new trends and latest styles.

On my journey to become a stylist I went to Creations Academy in Tupelo, MS to receive my education for licensing.Over the years I have grown my extended family that most would call their clientele. I am overwhelmed with the love, support, and following I've had over the years. Thank you all!

I am married to a big-hearted southern gentleman that works hard for our family. We have two beautiful little girls that are our entire world. On the weekends you can usually find us on our place in the most beautiful part of Lafayette County. It was our dream to own acreage with a barn, some horses to ride, and some livestock to raise and we have done just that with the help of some wonderful family and lots of prayer.

My tank is full of coffee, good vibes, and a positive mentality. I am constantly looking for ways to grow and be the best version of myself. I try to start there, because in every aspect of my life, people need the very best me. As a wife and mother, I know how important it is to take time for yourself. Some of my top priorities are to leave my clients feeling not only confident and in love with my services, but also rejuvenated and renewed.

​Through the years, I’ve only grown more passionate and educated within my craft. I thrive off meeting new clients and formulating a new color. I am ALWAYS learning. I stay on top of my studies and learn new techniques as often as I can.

As an Oxford local with over 16 years of experience, I am passionate about offering my time and talent to this town! I am a blonde specialist, who also has tons of expertise in hand tied and tape in extensions. Most weekends, you will find me on site of some of the most beautiful weddings in Oxford. On the weekends that I am not crafting special occasion hair and makeup, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband and three beautiful children. My goal is to meet and exceed the needs of each client that sits in my chair. I look forward to bringing you a step closer to your dream look!

For the entirety of Callaway’s life, she has always known that she wanted to create art. What better medium to create on than something living, breathing, and ever-growing? Callaway’s decision to pursue a career in cosmetology is a direct reflection of her artistic talents and desire to create. Callaway has a natural eye for design and takes pride in curating personalized styles that her clients love, all whilst prioritizing the integrity of hair! Some of her favorite creative transformations that take place in her chair include: blondes, long shags, teased balayages, curtain bangs, and vivids! Among other services, she also enjoys providing face and body waxing. At the end of the day, for her, it’s about helping others feel like their best selves. She is a 2021 graduate of NWCC (Oxford), joined the Amara Salon family in January of 2022, and is now a full-time stylist at Amara! Being able to do what she loves, at such a young age, is a dream come true! She looks forward to honing in on her skill set and continuing to evolve as a stylist. May she never stop creating!

Hello! I am originally from the MS delta, where I was a stylist for 6 years. I moved to North East MS in 2021 and have had my two precious children. I’ve been blessed to work there as well for the last 2 1/2 years. I am the newest member of Amara salon-Hair is my passion and has been all my life! There is no greater privilege than to help others. Especially when you can help someone look and feel good about themselves. I am so blessed to have a job that I absolutely love and never dread a single day going to it.
